• Linda Chavez: Pull the Plug on Hagel – Chuck Hagel’s nomination to be secretary of defense is in trouble – as it should be. The former Republican senator has so much baggage it is amazing the administration hasn’t dumped him, as they did Susan Rice when her proposed nomination ran into trouble.
  • Ramesh Ponnuru: Debating Immigration on the Right – The Washington Post reports on an effort by some conservative proponents of comprehensive immigration reform to discredit the opponents as a bunch of pro-abortion population controllers. These attacks are unimpressive, and the people making them — including, I’m sad to say, the editors of Human Life Review – should be embarrassed.
  • Crystal Wright: Obama’s Focus On Immigration: Ignoring Black Issues Once Again? – An increasing number of blacks appear to finally be getting angry with President Obama and his policies. It’s just too bad it took four years and voting for the president a second time for blacks to realize the president won’t  prioritize their issues.
  • Duke Machado: Hold On, Did He Just Say We Couldn’t Call Him Illegal? – The most absurd thing happened yesterday, when the illegal immigrant poster child, Jose Antonio Vargas,  testified in Washington in favor of immigration reform.  He stated,” When you inaccurately call me illegal, you are not only dehumanizing me, you’re offending them,(his family)” he said. “No human being is illegal.” Let me tell you something Jose, you disrespect all of us by disregarding our laws.
  • Asian Republican: The GOP’s Big Asian-American Problem – Still overlooked in the immigration discussion are Asian Americans, who are the fastest growing demographic group in the country—and one of the most diverse. In 2009—according to the Pew Research Center—Asian American immigration outpaced Hispanic immigration for the first time in recent history.
  • Gregory Kane: The Doctor Will School You Now, Mr. Obama – When Baltimore neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson handed President Obama his head on a platter at the recent National Prayer Breakfast, I can’t say that I was surprised. I’ve been an admirer of Carson since 1998.
  • Lloyd Marcus: Don’t Freak. It’s Just the R-Word – When  you mention the R-word, some folks on our side  (Republicans/ conservatives) feel uncomfortable.  I guess that in their minds, it feeds into the left branding the Tea Party as ignorant racists clinging to their God and guns, as President  Obama described us.
  • Silvio Canto: Another Obama Speech That Didn’t Mention Latin America – Tuesday night, President Obama continued his disregard for Latin America. I guess that President Obama must think that Latinos just spend the whole day thinking about “immigration reform” or anticipating “5 de Mayo” speeches.
  • Kevin Fobbs: Is Black History Month Outdated with Obama’s Re-election as President? – It is unnecessary to keep track of black achievement in areas of professionalism and other fields of achievement. These achievements are American achievements, and should not continue to be segregated or celebrated by racial designation.
  • Michelle Malkin: Democrats Heart Medicare Fraudsters – While Democrats pretend to protect the elderly and disabled, leaders of the People’s Party have pocketed gobs of campaign contributions from fat-cat donors tied to massive Medicare rip-off schemes.
  • Lauren Enriquez: NARAL Prez Makes Brutally Ironic Plea for End to Violence Against Children - The truth is that abortion-backers have a habit of decrying the brutality that is often committed against children at the hands of shooters and abusers. But these figures fall mysteriously silent when it comes to the 55+ million children who have been…
  • Anthony Bradley: Karate Chopping Lil’ Wayne – It is arguable that celebrated rapper Lil’ Wayne has completely lost his mind. In his newly released, grossly pathetic song “Karate Chop” the rapper spits in the face of the family of civil rights martyr Emmett Till by juxtaposing a reference to sexual conquest with the brutal race-driven murder of the teenager in 1955.
  • Herman Cain: Build the Pipeline – Fifteen months later, the Keystone XL pipeline still hasn’t been built. The Canadian government is losing patience. Gas prices are once again soaring around $4 a gallon. And President Obama is actually finding it difficult to choose between tens of thousands of new jobs and a major boost to America’s energy independence on the one hand, and a bunch of environmental extremists on the other hand.
  • SooperMexican: Illegal Alien in Altercation with Rep. Rohrbacher Affiliated with Alinskyite Organization - Earlier this morning the Hill reported on an altercation between Republican US Representative Dana Rohrbacher and an illegal alien residing in his district.  What they didn’t report on is that Jessica Bravo (great stage name!) is affiliated with PICO (Pacific Institute for Community Organization), an organization spreading the progressive agenda by replacing faith in God with faith in the state through churches, by using Alinsky tactics.
