• Michelle Malkin: Why Do Democrats Hate American Manufacturers? – Here’s the latest example of head-splitting cognitive dissonance in Washington: President Obama used his State of the Union address to crusade for a revitalized U.S. manufacturing sector. But while he pays lip service to supporting businesses that build their products on American soil, Obama and his left-wing operatives are hell-bent on driving a key sector of the U.S. manufacturing industry six feet under: the American firearms and ammunition industry.
  • Silvio Canto: How About a Little March Saying That GITMO and Drones Recruit Terrorists – Has the international left gone on vacation?  We have not heard much from them about GITMO recruiting terrorists or President Obama’s drones killing civilians.
  • Crystal Wright: Sequester Was Obama’s Idea; Make Him Own It – President Obama is good at spending money and very adroit at blaming Republicans for the many failures of his presidency.  Four years under his belt and another four to go and Obama continues the blame game with gusto. Now Obama is topping his own standard of hypocrisy and blaming the $1.2 trillion sequester on Republicans when the idea was Obama’s in 2011.
  • Anthony Bradley: Black Marriage Matters – While it may be true that some unwed fathers are involved in the lives on their children, President Obama is right to point out the marriage effect. To say that the breakdown in the black community is not associated with the decline in marriage rates is to deny the facts and ignore the importance of one of the most important institutions in human society.
  • Peter Kirsanow: The War on Blacks – The media has ignored the Left’s far more successful War on Blacks, the evidence for which has been accumulating for decades. Consider just a random sampling of the battles Democrats have won — or are in the process of winning — against blacks…
  • Alveda King: You’re Teaching My Child What? – Once source that is trying to do the educating and stick its nose where it doesn’t belong is the abortion industry and Planned Parenthood in particular. Planned parenthood has gotten the foot in the door in many of our children’s schools to “educate” them in the area of sexual education. Talk about a conflict of interest.
  • Mychal Massie: America Elected a Color Not a Leader – I’m tired of having a color as president.  I want a leader.  And I’m determined to continue doing everything in my power to combat the race mongering, racial partisanship, and the racial politics of the color pretending to be leader of America.
  • Armstrong Williams: Gun Manufacturers Are Scapegoats – We are all victims, not victims of hardened criminals who stalk our streets but  rather victims of gun manufacturers. Such a viewpoint places the emphasis on  social retribution rather than individual responsibility. Get it? The gun  manufacturers are being blamed for the harsh acts of criminals.
  • Erik Rush: Hold State Lawmakers Accountable for Gun Grabs – Patriots nationwide were shocked and disgusted this week when the  Democrat-controlled Colorado House of Representatives passed a package of strict  gun-control measures that were nothing more than quintessentially inane and  unconstitutional Pavlovian responses to violence perpetrated with firearms.
  • Wendell Talley: Emancipation Reclamation – Oddly, the party of local control and states rights spends most of its time looking for and carping about nationwide leadership. County and state Republican organizations will lead the way in remaking the GOP into an emancipation party. They have the ability to go to the places Republicans traditionally don’t go and meet people Republicans traditionally don’t meet.
  • Deroy Murdock: CalTrans to Deceased Veterans: Drop Dead – You would think Steve LeBard wanted to open an anthrax laboratory. Politically correct bureaucrats at the California Department of Transportation have impeded his every step. The latest outrage? CalTrans now demands that LeBard black out E Pluribus Unum from any military seals that would appear on the monument. Also to be redacted: The words “United States.”
